Starting off with a Chelsea terracing favourite, this collection is subliminal listening all the way through. Filled with some of the best horns players for the island at that time, Val Bennett, Tommy McCook, Carl Cannonball Bryan, and delightful sounds of some earlier Upsetters tunes, Perry at his best, and the Hippy Boys. Buy this album, whack it on, and sit back and enjoy some summer sounds.

The Trojan instrumentals box set is a collection of instrumental-reggae from the, now, legendary Trojan label that sees a number of well known artists such as 'Harry J All Stars', 'The Hippy Boys' and 'The Upsetters' placed alongside other less known musicians of that time to produce a nicely balanced set of instrumental tunes spread across three CD's...Great for relaxing to at home or for party music and another brilliant value production from this brilliant label....

All the old ska trojan tunes instrumentals are great to drive around to, if you like madness or the specials then, this is the music I should imagine which influcend them a great deal. The most famous one on here is The Liquidator, which chelsea fc use as there anthem to come out to at home matches. This is for all those skinheads and rude boys also fred perry and ben sherman clothe's wearers.

Yet another 3 x CD Trojan box set with 50 tracks of rare revive 45 reggae instrumentals that would cost you a fortune in vinyl. Well worth the £10 I paid for a used box set.

No fillers here - a ridiculously good compilation and some fine sleeve notes to boot. Sterling job - where's Volume 2 ?

3 CDs packed full of songs and among them some shining gems of musicianship that sound like sunshine pouring out of your speakers.
Without vocals (for the most part) people who enjoyed the soundtrack from 'The Harder they come' will feel at home here. There are occasional fillers but at 50 tracks that is to be expected, as a whole it's a bargain.
