An eighties classic
on 11 October 2000
Like the film a lesson in gloriously over the top eighites sentiment. Probably the highlight being Angel of the City by Robert Tepper a true eighties power ballad and a classic example of the genre. Other good tracks include Voice of America's Son, an upbeat cheesy number the likes of which always accomponied the end credits of action films during the era. However the album seems to be more than the sum of its parts and should be listened to as a whole to get a true sense of what the eighties soundtrack scene was all about, bouffants and all.
