This is good cd of the Easybeats original recordings, there are three songs that made the charts over here between late 1966 and late 1968, these are "Friday On My Mind", "Hello How Are You", and "Good Times". This group was big in Australia before they arrived here. If you are a fan of 60s music and prefer the original recordings, you might like to listen to this cd.

The seeds of ACDC can be felt germinating in this great example of rock n roll

My older sister (by ten years) had a few LPs by the Easybeats when I was growing up. When she moved away, she left them behind and thus began a love affair with the Easybeats for myself. Some of the songs do sound a bit tinny and dated but the Best Of collection fair took me back to my own youth and enjoying their Beatle-esque style of music. I bought this for my sisters 60th actually but ended up with two ;)

All I really want to say is that I have admired, and enjoyed, the many influences of the Easybeats since 1964 - They're the MAJOR influence in my love for International "gold calibre" 60's Rock'n'Roll. Gordon Kingsford-Smith
