Excellent quality lengthy 6trk album of dubby-acid-techno that had, and still does, have a sound way ahead of its time when originally released way back in 94! Now over 15+yrs old since its original release, it still impresses with its unique analogue dubby music even today(2012). Even today Electronic Dub can sound modern and unique when compared against today's dub(by)-techno music(2012). In a way this is a album that really did bring dub to techno/acid; yet never quiet got the praise or attention it so well deserves to the same level as Basic Channel (though BC music was more slowed down minimal techno) or Monolake 'Hong Kong' album - both defied as dub-techno classics now! Even though both have less dub influence then Electronic Dub - which does have both dub and techno(or acid!) along with its own absorbing intelligent concept to dubby music that's more then just another dub-techno sound! If I had to label this music I would probably describe it as 'Si-fi Space Dub-Techno', due to its very unique sound of its own showcasing a different side that moves away from the usual mono-toned feel associated with the classic dub-techno sound, esp in minimalism... AL and NLSoE use a range of mid-to-downtempo moods created on with what sounds like classic vintage analogue equipment, bringing with it a minimal dubby analogue soft background bass that's subtle yet deep, which is then further added with memorising synth analogue acid-techno and some excellent drum-machine programming. Each track keeps you hooked with its un-rushed pace across catchy 4/4 beats, hypnotic dubby basslines, and deep spacey atmospheres across minimalism and rhythm spaciousness that gradually hypnotically build and evolve introducing you to some cool analogue sweeping synth acid-techno loops/chords that are executed with excellent timing and sequencing - these will simply captivate you when they come. The analogue really brings the warmth and deep depth to the music with a hypnotic effect that runs throughout the albums length...A excellent collaboration by Air Liquid and NLSOE that really have developed there own unique dubby techno music that will appeal to both dub-techno and deep techno fans now and for many years to come! A wonderful album that truly has stood the test of time!

Recommended to people who enjoy moody/warm/deep analogue techno from artist like: Mono Junk, Aural Expansion, 23 Degrees, Mikkel Mettal, Convextion, Deepchord, Rod Modell, Octex, and Dum Records label. Also those who enjoy late night chilling and electronic dub followers.

Also worth trying quality albums by ambient-acid-techno and experimental grooves by Air Liquide (+ under many various names): German Electronic Music, G.E.F, Nephology, Air Liquide S/T, Sonic Weather Machine, The Increased Difficulty Of Concentration, Neue Frankfurter Elektronik Schule 1991, Efs, Blue Pool, Rolleiflex-Weltron-Time Square, Electronic Desert, Radiowaves 1 & 2, RedPierrot Premier ‎- Orange Clouds Over Battery Park, Empire State Building, ...and more.
