This is one of those albums that just consumes you.
Its catchy, melancholy, uplifting - thought provoking, brilliantly crafted, well recorded and all in all excellent!
The best albums grow slowly on you and this is no exception.
I drove to the Czech Republic with this in my car from London and it was the only disc I had with me.
I was still playing it when I got back!
It really is that good.
Ive been looking for another copy on CD for years but have never seen it for sale anywhere in the shops.
To be honest with you I get the impression that the record was never promoted properly which is criminal with a record this good.
An introspective exploration of the soul that ultimately triumphs with beauty, purpose and hope.
An essential uplifting purchase that restores your faith in music.
My only criticism is aimed at their record company - I'd never head of the Trash Can Sinatras before this CD came out and Ive never heard of them after it either.
What are the record company doing and why are they not promoting this excellent band?
I cant help but wonder where they are now.....
If anyone knows please tell...
