I had this album in the mid/late 80's on tape, and played it to death in the car, these guy's hailed from the midlands and they where in my opinion very talented! try this particular album for yourself especially if you like rock in the melodic sense with big vocals and some good guitar soloing with excellent keyboards and drums thrown in, and a voice that as far as I can remember sampled from a pinball machine prior to the guitar solo, on the track "under fire" try it you won't be dissapointed.

A masterpiece of melodic-rock. Contains the single "Break Down The Walls". Tony Mills is a great singer. Steve Harris a great lead guitarist. The band is great. Influences include 80's, Dokken, Gary Moore (G Force). SHM CD (Super High Material Compact Disc) is the equal to a remaster. Also included, is the original packaging, and three bonus songs. "Excess All Areas" is the third album by Shy, who hail from Birmingham, England. (Tony Mills left to join TNT). The lyrics are about relationships. The lead guitar is a mini-composition. Other songs are Emergency, Under Fire, Talk To Me, When The Love Is Over, Telephone, Young Heart. I also recommend their album "Sunset and Vine".
