This Canadian outfit were huge in the 80s across the Atlantic and on the continent, but for some reason never became that popular here in the UK. This is a shame as this band demonstrate that you can rock with a keyboard just as well as you can with a guitar. Of course, there are guitars here but listen to the emphatic playing of the keyboards on Careful Where You Step to see what I mean.
Saga blend the melody with that edge of rock music to create a very strong and distinctive style.
Fans of Saga will note that over their first few albums there are a number of songs with a sub-title of "Chapter #". These are the stongest songs by Saga and I wish we could buy just one CD with all of these classics. On this CD you have three; Don't Be Late, Too Much to Lose and Careful Where You Step.
I hope you like it as much as I do.
