This compilation showcases the talents and musical abilities of Blancmange perfectly. All the hits are included and others besides ... the cool classic sountrack-esque "Waves" is a standout track and the Abba cover, "The Day Before You Came" is a fantastic version. Blancmange captured 80's pop perfectly but never seemed to get the proper recognition, play "Blind Vision" loud and I dare you not to dance ! All the hit singles are included and a couple of album tracks, if you have never heard Blancmange before buy this to get the real flavour.

I really only bought this in order to remind myself of a couple of favourite 80's tracks - and how well it does it.
The full album isn't up to the quality of some of the better known individual tracks but it's still worth a buy.

With seven of the tracks on here added since the first Blancmange Best of 'Second Helpings', this CD represents better value for money than the first release. However, it has to be said that apart from the chart hits - 'Waves', 'Don't Tell Me', 'Blind Vision', and 'Living on the Ceiling'; plus the haunting Abba cover 'The Day Before You Came', there is little of interest here unless you're a big fan. Personally I think that those five tracks are worth the price alone; however the likes of 'God's Kitchen', 'I've seen the Word', and 'Vishnu' left me cold.
