Regarded as the greatest guitarist of all time... I'm not gonna argue. He wasn't a good singer, and a lot of the songs on this prove it. But you play guitar like he did, no one cares. Some of his best work is on this album. The DVD shows a little insight into the madness/genius in Jimi's brain, with Eddie Kramer showing some of the early takes for the album and how some of the songs were written.

Whist others may rate Electric Ladyland as his best work I have always enjoyed this more. That doesn't mean I wont be listening to EL.
