A more acoustic feel to this 1997 outing, with top notch support from many of the industry's finest musicians, amongst them Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Andy Snitzer, Boney James, Chuck Loeb, Rick Braun, Lenny Castro, Fareed Haque and Paul Brown. Recorded at a variety of studios in and around New York and LA, and produced mainly by Michael Colina, with whom Uncle Bob had collaborated on previous albums.
Nothing much more to say about it really, except for a pleasing absence (in this context) of any vocal numbers. Just a nice, competent and, above all else, enjoyable album of skillfully crafted tracks that I keep coming back to a few times a year and never regret having added to my collection. Warmly recommended to anyone who likes smooth jazz at its best.
