Welcome to the end of classic Schoolly D and into his experimentation. This album covers his flirtation with guitars (Huh? Remember "No More Rock and Roll"?) with Urge Overkill. It got worse with later albums and his funk odyssey.
Some good tracks do ressurrect the old b.boy feel "Dusted" and "They Wanna Kill Me" are two such tunes.
It's a lower class Schoolly overall.

It's funky and mellow and the only other Schoolly D album I listen to as regularly is Smoke Some Kill though I think this is a better album. It's full of the usual gangster rap themes, but with funny/clever lyrics, unlike a lot of other gangster rap.
