5.0 out of 5 stars Violin , Piano, Cello, Concertos of Ligeti
What a really fine CD. The music is so expressive with wonderful haunting melodies, especially in the 2nd movements of the Piano and Violin Concertos. The playing by the soloists and the orcherstra, under the guidance of Pierre Boulez, is superb. A real must for Ligeti fans.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too quirky by half?
I had never tasted Ligeti until listening to an orchestral encore at the recent Proms - the finale of his Romanian Concerto - which I found brilliant, as did the audience. The only other of his works I have liked so far is his piece for 100 metronomes. But he is such an amazingly prolific composer that he must have something for everyone.
