Bill Hicks is hilariously funning and absolutely correct in everything he says! At last a comedian that has the balls to tell the truth: society's worst aspects, children to republicans, are all treated with approriate derision & wonderful humour. Bill Hicks is sadly missed.

A must-have for people who love the genre. Maybe the only thing is that being a collection, I found myself listening to some sketches I already had. So, better check before you buy.

Bill Hicks is the best comedian of the 20th Centuary. Controversial comment I know, but listen to ANY CD and you'll soon agree.
Rant, is perhaps his most polished CD in that it flows as an album much better.
Rant is also his most bitter and cynical album in that alot of the material was written and performed when he knew about his cancer. Hick's vicious outbursts are provocative, intelligent but above all - True. Almost everything he says, you think to yourself "He's got a point there".
Rant's material is hilarious but it isnt full of jokes. Its just him discussing his perception of the world. And the saddest thing of all is that the world lost someone who saw things from a different view point yet was right. He could've made a great President (if he didnt despise the people that is).
The highlights of the CD are plentiful. "Artistic Role Call" where he, literally, rants about Jay Leno. "Easter" and "Gideons" are extremely funny. "Rush Limbaugh" is distasteful, yet you can kinda see where he is coming from. And "Waco (Koresh)" / "The Pope" are the best on the album.
Buy this album and you'll become enlightened in a way you never thought possible.
In Bill We Trust.

Hicks provides the truth, and in his recordings still does for many present day agendas.Hicks pulls off the covers of many areas of our lives that are still manipulated and globally controlled. The global dominators and mind controllers are a single central command, governments, religion, free masonary, etc.Down the line they all intergrate at the top level,Bush wasn't selected by choice of the people and you all know who shot kennedy-"yeah wright".
Hicks material is fairly broard based, with savage attacks on personal freedom;drugs, society in general and many over comedic gems.
As a commedian, there is Bill hicks and then an Everest like drop off.The comedy that this guy blended into the material mentioned above, thus into his stand up, is second to none and i mean, no one comes anywhere near as good.
Maybe one day there will be someone eles who can keep the fires burning. While His thoughts will never be destroyed the best thing you can do is have a daily dose of reallity with Mr Hicks as often as possible and pass on the vibe
BUY all of the CD recordings......their priceless
