5.0 out of 5 stars At last, a readable, practical, job-hunting book
This book is writen in a non-patronising style, giving useful advice and explaining why you are being advised to do particular things. As a result of the explanations the advice is easier to follow, the necessary work is easier to do. The whole book is a good read but the inclusion of bullet point checklists and summaries that are fun, help to make the whole thing...

1.0 out of 5 stars Big book, wast of time money effort
I was recommended this book by a Gov contractor who assist people in gaining employment. It is a compulsory attended session so I believed it was for my benefit the information that came my way.

This review is from: Job Hunting 3.0: Secrets and skills to sell yourself effectively in the modern age (Paperback)
I was recommended this book by a Gov contractor who assist people in gaining employment. It is a compulsory attended session so I believed it was for my benefit the information that came my way.
Well for all the time it takes to get through the obvious points made in this large volume I could have gone out and got a job anyway! This really doesn't take you anywhere that needs such a thick book. It isn't a revelation and can be covered in a bullet point fashion rather than massive pages of over statements and annoying nuances of certain matters that would make you a super psychologist!

If you want a job, go out and get one, don't bother getting this book.
