4.0 out of 5 stars The most up-to-date review of current knowledge on Titan., 21 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Titan: The Earth-like Moon (Series on Attmospheric, Oceanic & Planetary Physics) (Hardcover)
Coustenis and Taylor present an authoritative review of our present knowledge on Titan. They cover everything, from its atmospheric physics and dynamics to the nature of its surface, from high-altitude photochemistry to the fractal nature of aerosol particles in the atmosphere. The book focuses on the most up-to-date science and includes references to articles. The historical material is very interesting and well presented, and most of the technical terms are explained in a glossary. I recommend it to everybody interested in discovering all that has been and is being done to study this mysterious moon of Saturn.
