An excellent product delivered in good time. I.used it to solder a small circuit board and some larger items. It Heated rapidly and delivered adequate heat. Saves me the complexities and wiring of a separate solder station, whilst allowing temperature control. I think the sheet metal stand supplied with it is flimsy and inadequate, but had an old Antex heavy spring-type stand on bakelite base with sponges. It operates well in this stand, so no problem. Another much appreciated benefit is the highly flexible cable. This prevents any interference with delicate soldering tasks. Judging by the long (20 years+) performance of my previous Antex 25 W iron without temperature control and still working, I think the new one should see me out! Very satisfied customer.

I bought this iron to iron my suits. Boy was I disappointed.
The hot bit is so small that it would take around seven years to iron one average sized shirt and it gets so hot in use that it burnt a hole right through my collar.
I would avoid this iron and go for something by Electrolux in future.
