I enjoyed reading this book thoroughly. Pataudi has been my role model since I was a child, I used to get attracted to his personality which have separated him from the rest.
This book includes absorbing information about this great person, we all are so proud of

This review is from: Pataudi: Nawab of Cricket (Hardcover)
A different biography in that it is a collection of essays by those who knew the Nawab both family, fellow cricketers and journalists. Very readable and interesting to hear the views of so many about a considerable and very likeable figure in Indian cricket. A bit repetitive in that the essays tend to go over the same ground but this doesn't really detract from the read.

Great book according to my husband, who loves cricket. Sheds light on the demeanor of one of the legends of the game. He also said: every young cricketer should read this book. The name Pataudi will forever be synonymous with dignity, humor and grace, in cricket circles and beyond.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 27 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Pataudi: Nawab of Cricket (Hardcover)
The Nawab was the cricket captain of my youth. He had a formidable presence and aura that moulded Indian cricket. This collection of articles written by various contributers of his time gives us an insight into the Man and his cricket. I found it absorbing and thought provoking. The book itself is nicely printed and bound. It has gorgeous dust cover and some great pictures inside.
A must read for anyone interested in the history of Indian Cricket.
