5.0 out of 5 stars Italian passion, 5 Mar 2009

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Moto Guzzi Motorcycles (Hardcover)
Ideal for anyone either new to the marque or those familiar with Moto Guzzi but keen to know more. Readable but not lacking in technical information and with a wealth of images from inception to the 1970s. A little bereft however of recent photos of factory movers and shakers with the most recent events covered a little hurriedly.

The latest model featured is the 2007 Bellagio but the colour portfolio only covers models to the 1998 V11 Sport.

All in all despite the minor deficiencies above a must have for all Guzzisti.

5.0 out of 5 stars Guzzi history, 18 Aug 2012

A very well written account of the Moto Guzzi firm from its beginning. Some nice prosaic phrases about "the most gifted engineer Europe has ever seen" type of thing, and some really deep philosophical material regarding purity of design and function, but on the whole a book worth having for a Guzzi fan. An excellent chronological section with B&W photos of all the machines the firm produced . Some spelling mistakes which I presume have occured due to a translation from the original Italian. A quality book, nicely bound (hardback) and profusely illustrated with B&W and many colour photos. Yes, on the whole, worth the money.

I am a Guzzi fanatic, I don't suppose everyone is though. There is plenty of information and photographs to satisfy anyone interested in bikes in general and obviously Guzzi's in particular. The colour plates are excellant.
