Great eggs, instructions you need
on 13 October 2012
They work great. Last about 2 weeks between charges for me and my window sills are the driest they've ever been and I've tried other dehumidifiers. My only problem was they came with no instructions but thanks to peoples comments on here I knew what to do. I'm listing the general instructions needed here for others.
Remove the stand. Place the egg upside down on a cup. Carefully remove the stopper so the beads don't fall out.
Place the cup with the egg containing the beads only in the microwave. Heat on about 60% power for 5 mins.
Remove the cup and egg but be careful as they will both be very hot.
Wait about 15 mins for the egg to cool.
Replace the stopper - if the egg is still a little warm thats no problem but DO NOT replace it when the egg's still hot. Place the egg in the stand.
Over the next few mins the pink paper on the sides of the stand will reset to blue.
I was so impressed that I've just ordered some more and the price has come down! They arn't too big and not ugly so not an eyesore on a window sill. I'd definitely recommend.
UPDATE: Now Dec 2013 and the eggs still working and recharging. Word of warning, you DO need to charge the eggs when you get them. And if the paper is colored other than pink/blue its still the same, charge the eggs first.
