This placemat is an excellent idea and well worth the price. If you are anything like me and not so hot in the maths department then it makes easy reference for you to test your child. As well as the product been fantastic the company providing the item is also of a excellent standard. The item arrived in less then 24 hours! Now that's what you call a good service.
Along with this placemat I also purchased the "Telling the time" which is a big hit with the children.

Totally brilliant. Extremely sturdy - will last ages. Makes for a good strong poster too. Well worth the money. Intending to buy the other placemats from the same wigwam series.

Very thick and will last long. My 6yr old son loves doing homework on it and I pretend I don't see him peeking to see if his answers are correct every now and again. He enjoys looking at it while having his meals as well and I point out the correlation between the times tables eg. 3x5 and 5x3

Really good for my 6-year-old. Might get one for the nice man at HMRC who works out my tax allowance. Recommended

My grandson really likes this and educational as well - prompts number discussions over dinner and really colourful and interesting. Great prompt delivery

I bought this for my son who loves maths and is about to move onto multiplication tables. The colours are really bright and the plastic is much thicker than a lot of the other placemats we've tried. I would definitely buy this again.

My five-year-old son is passionate about maths and numbers, and wanted to learn the multiplication tables. I thought this placemat would be more fun than a poster or a book.

It has all the tables up to the twelve times, it is bright and colourful and easy to read, and it washes up well after being spattered with pasta sauce.

My son loves it, and scrutinises it all during his dinner.

My little boy (4hrs) loves maths. He is great at addition and subtraction but struggles a bit with multiplication (I'll let him off seeing as he's only 4!). He loves asking his mum and dad sums from his placement and in turn, loves being questioned back!

Stumbled across this and bought as we needed a new place mat for the dinner table. I thought it was pretty expensive for a mat but actually it feels fairly substantial and seems good quality compared to some we have had in the past. My son loves looking at it and frequently announces that he knows what some multiplication fact or other is whilst we are out and about or in another room. It is also fueling his interest in big numbers "I know what 9x90 is..." and it's fun looking for patterns in the numbers too. I now don't think it was expensive for what it is at all!
