5.0 out of 5 stars Iconic Imagery, 18 Dec 2004
This review is from: Corinne Day: Diary (Hardcover)
Beautifully created book from the Photographer that was first to photograph Kate Moss for the Face Magazine. This amazing book gives an insite into the kaotic lifestyle it's author was living in at the time, this book is chock full of candid, shocking, drug addled....mayhem! Brilliant!

5.0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT, 4 Sep 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Corinne Day: Diary (Hardcover)
This book contains moving images from the life of Corinne Day herself dipicting herself and her friends who surround her. The images can be seen as disguisting yet reading the things which are along side shows a certain aspect of her life to date. It shows the struggle she and her friends have had. Also she is the british version and has taken her insperation from the fantastic work of american photographer Nan Goldin who's dipitions also tell a great story of their life.

5.0 out of 5 stars the bad photo made good, 20 Nov 2006
This review is from: Corinne Day: Diary (Hardcover)
Gritty, hard-edged depiction of slumming it in squats with ketamine up your nose. The images are moving, and darkly beautiful, off centred out out of focus off the cuff images of young people on the dole, living their lives. Whilst many who have viewd Day's work with disgust at their honesty, these images are never self loathing. The girls and boys are having fun, and living their lives. This woman's work changed the way I looked at photography. More self aware and perhaps manipulative than Nan Goldin, but frank and brilliant.
