5.0 out of 5 stars Handy Golf Tips
This little book is excellent for taking round the course to help solve tricky situation. It is also useful to carry around in your pocket to glance at when you have a moment with nothing better to do.

3.0 out of 5 stars Useful info but costs 27p per page
This book is full of useful information on how to do various things in the game of golf. The information is a combination of some rules and how to play in situations that new players may not have encountered before. The book is described as an on course guide and it could be something you read whilst waiting for the next tee, but I don't think you would be popular on a...

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is full of useful information on how to do various things in the game of golf. The information is a combination of some rules and how to play in situations that new players may not have encountered before. The book is described as an on course guide and it could be something you read whilst waiting for the next tee, but I don't think you would be popular on a course if you kept stopping to read how to get out of your current lie.

There are some negative points to consider:
1. I don't think the book is waterproof, it is glossy card and spiral bound.
2. The book is based on the old rules which were valid until 31 Dec 2011 - although nothing is wrong but the new searching for the ball in a hazard rule is missing.
3. The are 33 small pages of information which works out around 27p per page at RRP- which in my view is overpriced

This review is from: Golf Trouble Shots & Quick Fix Guide: A Practical Guide for Use on the Course: Golf tips for around the course (Spiral bound copy)
It was delivered within 4 days of ordering. It is an expensive book to buy for few tips which are already there in other books I am in possession of.

5.0 out of 5 stars my thoughts, 11 Feb 2012
A very useful tool to have with you even though it is now out of date (in places) This does not diiminish the value of this golfer's aid. It is well written, laid out and shower proof. The price is reasonable and the product was despatched and arrived on time. A must for beginners and low handicap players alike.
