An interesting collection of black and white photos showing life in the 1920s in a variety of different ways. It's spread into themes, meaning it covers both the upper- and lower-class lifestyles, from high fashion to daily hardship, from ridiculous frocks and hairstyles through to politics and science.
Mostly the emphasis is on amusing and some quirky images, there's not that much that's harrowing in here. The text is relatively minimal- it's in 3 languages, so by the time you're reading in your chosen language there's not much text here at all- but it's broadly informative and a nice reminder of some of the context of some of these photos.
A nice book to dip into for a flavour of the time.
