A very useful read for students of international relations, 18 Aug 2010
This review is from: Symbiotic Realism: A Theory of International Relations in an Instant and an Interdependent World (Paperback)
In this book Dr. Nayef-Al Rodhan, a leading scholar in both neuroscience and geostrategy, suggests a new, comprehensive theory of International Relations entitled "Symbiotic Realism". He goes beyond conventional IR theory by incorporating dimensions that are usually missing, including gender, climate change, culture, collective identities and ITC. Additionally, the book carefully reviews and criticises existing approaches to international relations, which can be very useful to any student of international relations. This is a well written book which is accessible to everyone. Highly recommended!
