A very interesting book charting the work of 40 young architects and stylishly presenting a hugely diverse range from around the globe Although heavily reliant on the visual, with some beautiful photographs, the small amount of text compliments the presentations with a brief introduction on the buildings, and an interesting background on the architects. This book by its highly visual nature remains a reference book, so don't be expecting a discourse on modern theory but it does contain some wonderful buildings, and interiors. Which informs both the casual reader and the student of architecture of some excellent work being done around the world in this field. Definitely one for the reference shelf, although how you put it down I don't know. Every time I read through it I discover something else, a massive book...it's a bargain!
