I allready posessed "Leonardo da Vinci: the Complete Works" when ordering this book. Also a wonderful book, but to be honest it made me crave more. Not more information but larger scale pictures. This book on Leonardo was the answer. The size on a two-page spread "Annunciation" for example really lets you study and admire the details in full. The print quality is fantastic and they have really made an effort in justyfying Leonardos genius. So is also the case with several other of Leonardos creations. I only miss the large scale details from the original "Virgin of the rocks (Louvre)" and I wonder why the "Scapiliata" is not included.

A beautiful edition from Taschen, so reasonably priced that it possibly brings a great tranche of da Vinci's work to a wider sector of the people who may consider it is a worthwhile purchase. Lovely edition.

Outstanding, a must for any Leonardo fan. The quality of presentation and information excellent. The value for money of this book is excellent.

Beautiful book to go through. We keep it open and anyone walking by can browse through Da Vinci's works. The prints are high quality, no pixels, with the more important works getting close ups and zoom shots.

Beautiful reproduction, lovely gift. Complements the notes and complete works which provide the narrative and sets the context of time and place.
