1.0 out of 5 stars Didnt really inspire me
No, this book didn't really give me any insiration, literally sold it not long after purchase, might be to others taste but not really helpful to me, found some of the illustrations etc rather annoying, sure there is talent out there but sadly not much shown in this book for me to want to keep it as a reference.

This book serves as an introduction to digital artists around the world, with them sharing their tips, inspiration and background stories. There's plenty to read, basically it's like a thick magazine.

The book features more radical designs, not the usual fine art or editorial stuff. There are work from the different industries such as toy, music, fashion, many more.

There are collages, illustrations, vectors and lots of mix matching. Even though the subject is on digital illustration, there's a mixture of traditional medium as well, such as crafting and hand-drawn stuff. There are 7 tutorials which basically walk you through on how the artists create their work on computers. So this isn't special effects tutorial book nor does it teach digital painting.

It's a nice book with lots of experimental ideas into the style and way of creating art.
