The Sonic Comic Encyclopedia is a book that I've literally been waiting years for. After being delayed so often in the past, this title has finally been released and, if anything, benefits from how long it took to publish, because it means we get even more extra content.
If you're a fan of Archie Sonic anyway, you should definitely pick this book up. It contains so many extra details that we don't get to see on the pages of the comic, as well as having a few surprises, like the Nerb Freedom Fighters and Nic's previously unseen second design.
Given that the Archie Sonic history is such a long and winding road, this book will probably serve as a good reference for new fans who want to get into the comic as well. Especially since the content meets up to even the current Archie Sonic plots.
There have been reports of a few errors in regards to issue numbers being referenced wrongly and the like, but personally that didn't bother me too much, since there was so much new content to read through. These mistakes aren't frequent enough to make the book unenjoyable and I doubt that many readers will even pick up on them anyway.
Really great book, glad to have bought it!
