5.0 out of 5 stars really interesting
This is really interesting reading. Lots of comparisons to stories in the bible that are similar. It also covers a few more topics in depth of stuff that is glossed over in the bible like parts that didn't make the final cut. Its worth a read.

I have a hard copy of this book but wanted the convenient Kindle edition, once again I am let down by the numerous spelling errors, I think I'll apply for a position as a proof reader for kindle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Angels and Demons, 13 Jun. 2013
This review is from: The Books of Enoch: The Angels, the Watchers and the Nephilim (with Extensive Commentary on the Three Books of Enoch, the Fallen Angels, T (Paperback)
It's an interesting thought - that the Book of Enoch preceded and greatly influenced the Bible. Even more intriguing is why church fathers decided to exclude it from the Bible.

This is a good insight into the world that Jesus lived in, Jesus would have known all about the book of Enoch so it is amazing to read the words he would have done (Ok in English!). The commentary is helpful too.
Very pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic book!, 7 Sept. 2014

What a great book. I read about what happened to Enoch and had a great deal of material to fill in big gaps in the Bible. I also realised the Bible writers might have left certain details out of their own narrative because of the wide availability of these texts in their day. A real good read for all serious Bible scholars and worshippers of God.

Amazingly intense and diverting, I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in angels. This book will both enlighten and confuse, buy this book to enter into a mystical world of bewilderment.

5.0 out of 5 stars A useful and interesting book., 19 Mar. 2014

This review is from: The Books of Enoch: The Angels, the Watchers and the Nephilim (with Extensive Commentary on the Three Books of Enoch, the Fallen Angels, T (Paperback)
This is one of the most useful and interesting books I have bought. It has the books of The Watchers and The Angels and The Nephilim, which no other book has. Angels have always been a mystery to me and here are the old stories which some believe should be in the Bible.
Most enjoyable

3.0 out of 5 stars I already had the Book of Enoch (or 1 Enoch) ..., 5 April 2015

I already had the Book of Enoch (or 1 Enoch), so I just bought this for the other two versions, whose origins/authenticity are questionable. 1 Enoch would always get 5 stars, but seeing as I wasn't too impressed by the later two versions this book as a whole only gets 3 stars.
