I found this book very confusing. I gave up before reaching any of the projects. The instructions jump about and don't start at the beginning and end at the end. In the middle the author abandons the quilting instructions and shows you how to make a bag for carrying your work about! She then continues the quilting instructions. I couldn't get my head around what she kept referring to as quilt frames. What frames? I looked it up on google and still don't know if she means frames or sashing. There is no glossary to help you. She obviously knows about quilting but I don't think she can get it across to readers unless those readers know as much as she does. Why she interrupts the flow of her instructions to tell you she uses this tool bla bla bla, and you can buy these labels called tag-a-quilt, or get someone to treat you to them, is infuriating because you are trying hard to learn and she keeps inserting these aside comments which interrupt the learning process. I think this book is suitable only for advanced quilters even though the synopsis indicates otherwise. I don't like her style of writing at all.
