This review is from: The Digital Photography Workflow Handbook (Hardcover)
I am only a little way;s into this book, and already it has paid for itself, it is well laid out, and easy to understand.
Being an ex film photographer, i have always found digital post capture daunting, to say the least,i have bought numerous books on the subject, and, find it hard to take in, especialy being a senior citizen, however, i think i have found the answer in this book,it covers absolutely everything to with, what it says on the cover, from input to output, and, although i have to read a page a few times over, it makes sense in the end, i would compere this book with, the old film bible,[the ilford manual of photography], i can remember reading pages over and over again, with that before that made sense, so, i am looking foreward to progressing through this book nice and slow, and, i am sure digital should start making more sense, its got to be the best book out there on the subject, covering, photoshop, lightroom, capture one, etc, and once again, very easy to understand, well recommended.

This is a really terrific book! Its not a book you can read in two weeks and as the title states it's all about workflow which you may think is somewhat distant from taking pictures but think again, nearly everyone nowadays shoots digital and the part that our computers play when up loading, storing, editing and printing is immense, without a computer we cant perform any of the above. This book guides the reader through the stages of each digital workflow process and also gives advice on how the author likes and prefers to work. It also gives recommendation to various software packages with their strengths and weaknesses. The workflow examples are mostly based around the products from Adobe with plenty of pictures and details to explain. In relevance of photography books I have dozens of them, some are good some pretty bad .... but every now and again you find one that really delivers and only wish I knew of this book when it first came out.
