There is nothing new in the man part of the book if you have read other biographies. The only difference really is that it includes chapters about her breakdown.

This review is from: Britney Spears: Little Girl Lost (Paperback)
This book is a truly memorable read for its in depth fascinating look inside the life of Britney Spears! It definitely captures an excellent portrayal of the ups and downs that Britney Spears faced. After ending the last pages I was definitely blown away at how Britney was able to get up fall after fall and never loose the faith. She really is an inspiration! This author will take you there. He not only includes the friends, biography but also the lovers, records sales, and achievements. While not overly enthusiastic nor pessimist he definitely writes with a very alluring style never boring nor tiring. In short, as I flipped from page to page I was stunned at how I kept going non-stop with an interest to see what happens next. Christopher Heard does an outstanding job!

When I read Britney: The Unauthorized Biography of Britney Spears as well as saw an array of documentaries including the latest one titled, "Unbreakable" it became apparent to me that this writer did extensive research. What I also found that was even more informative was the newer information from the Circus Era all the way to Jason Trawick, Candies promotions, and family events. I have not found any other book with such new data. It really presented the information unbiased and inspirational. After reading this book it becomes apparent Britney Spears has taken many plunges to the depths of hell and somehow managed to pick herself up. It is very rare to see that kind of chaos from a music artist. The information on Sam Lutfi, Ghalib, and Britney's breakdown was heavily mentioned with details and information to back it up. Not quite like Sean Smith's book, this one does not mention Lutfi's involvement to such an extreme extent. It is more objective and less critical. Thus, opening the interpretation to the reader.

For those wondering what contents are in it besides Britney's breakdown there is much information on Britney's album debut sales, her management, her family, Justin Timberlake, her Wade Robson infidelity that lead to Justin ending their relationship and much more. Let me say that the other books I've read do not mention Wade Robson nor the actual details on how that night went. Furthermore, Kevin Federline is also heavily discussed with actual words from reporters and magazines who interviewed Kevin's mistress from a club when Britney was pregnant at home. All these facts I also viewed on the DVD Unbreakable, the documentary Life Through A Lens, and a few others. The author did not miss anything. He dug very profoundly because everything I viewed on the DVD's matched the book. And to me that was a bit unusual considering those rare interviews by Kevin Federline and the mistress that were not publicized anywhere. It really made me feel that Kevin was a womanizer, and a heart-breaker. My heart was definitely taken aback and surprised at the pain Britney endured. The prenuptial details was also a shocker.

Since I already had a pretty good idea on much of Britney's background I skimmed most of those sections and focused on the new and not heard of. I can assure you this book will put you up to speed on getting all the facts up to the Circus Era and some after. Jason Trawick is most definitely discussed as being a big hearted guy in Britney's life. Not one to go lightly on authors I would have to say this book is the best one I've read of Britney's. It took me inside those moments in time when Britney was in the ambulance riding to the Psychiatric Hospital, it took me to her shaving her head, her meltdowns, and her never ending struggle to not give up on her dream. If one thing is certain is that this book will paint the true picture of who Britney is: a fighter, a devoted mother, a very loving person, but most of all passionate for her career. Not once did she forget her fans. She never lost the fight. With time it can be said that Britney is an Icon and a legend that will endure until the end of times! Like Madonna, Michael Jackson and others she will stay relevant, talked about, and loved by all! This book is testament to that!
