5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read for fans tired of mainstream journalism, 6 Sept. 2012
This review is from: The Blizzard: Issue 5: The Football Quarterly (Paperback)
The Blizzard keeps getting better. With a mix of regular contributors and some excellent new writers Issue Five has the usual varied and thoughtful articles that us regular readers have come to expect. This past month or so my hour long commute has been that bit more bearable as I've dipped into issue five to enjoy an interview with Socrates (one of the last ever), Philippe Auclair asking Roy Hodgson about his football philosophy and a thought provoking piece by Brian Phillips on what is a "real" football fan. Not every article always appeals to me as the subjects can be so diverse but this is the joy of The Blizzard - you can't predict what will be in the next issue. When I open up their latest offering each quarter the only thing I know for certain is the quality of the writing will be top notch.
