4.0 out of 5 stars Some good PSI tales
I like Anderson, and this is a good collection of stories. The two main tales include one where the web of life is falling apart and Anderson teams up with her Sov Block counterparts and voyage to the top of the world to save the world. Well written and well drawn, this is a good tale that has a few twists in it and makes a good read.

2.0 out of 5 stars interesting but very flawed
I'd waited a long time to read the further adventures of Judge anderson and unfortunately it's not great. Only the 3 Ian Gibson stories from the Annuals have the sense of fun of earlier stories. Instead buy the "Psychic Crimes files" with wonderful Boo Cook art and Alan Grant back on form.

I like Anderson, and this is a good collection of stories. The two main tales include one where the web of life is falling apart and Anderson teams up with her Sov Block counterparts and voyage to the top of the world to save the world. Well written and well drawn, this is a good tale that has a few twists in it and makes a good read.

The other main tale is Anderson going to Mars to look at the discovery of alien artefacts. This again has a few twists in it and progresses well with a good resolution. The second part of this story deals with the aftermath of the above event and without spoiling it too much Anderson ends up travelling the galaxy. There are several artists throughout the tales and some works, some doesn't. Although one large story arc, there are lots of smaller stories making them up until the conclusion.

There are also a few other various one off tales mixed into the blend making this good value, but maybe only for big Dredd/Anderson fans.

I liked it, and it was a good read that was easy to dip into.

I think the Anderson stories have been much better and more nuanced than the Dredd stories lately, and this book is a good addition to the series. Some stories are a bit thin, but the arc between them is great.

This is the second Psi files volume and it sees Cass Anderson on a quest to find some meaning in her life after the suicide of her friend Judge Corey. Whilst this event is mentioned in the book the actual story isn't reprinted here unfortunately (it is in the 1989 Sci-Fi Special). Cass essentially traipses around the galaxy seeking enlightenment and encounters many weird and wonderful characters. There is also a team up which Joe Dredd would most definitely not approve of. The artwork is varied and at times jars you from the continuous storyline but overall I found it a good counterpoint to the more frivolous Anderson we all know and love.
