The use of English is poor and there are lots of grammatical and typographical errors ...

Willie Thorne clearly has an interesting story to tell, but I don't feel this book really achieves that. It seems to skip around and is quite repetitive. Although he talks about his gambling losses he still appears to be focussed on his wins. The book is simply not very well written. The use of English is poor and there are lots of grammatical and typographical errors (in the Kindle edition that I read anyway) and the stories lack focus. He really needed someone to go through this thoroughly and tidy it up for him, making it flow better, making it easier to read - and making it more interesting. Also - and I hate to say this - he doesn't come across as being a very likeable person. For all its faults this is a revealing account, but it could have been so much more.
