This review is from: Terry Frost: A Painter's Life (Hardcover)
In 2009 I bought Roger Bristow's The Last Bohemians: The Two Roberts - Colquhoun and MacBryde and enjoyed it immensely. Because of that I bought his new work, despite knowing little about Terry Frost. Once again Bristow has produced a well-researched book which conveys great knowledge, understanding of and sympathy for his subject and writes in a way which welcomes the interested amateur as well as the more informed reader. This book has helped me towards a better understanding of developments in the art world in the middle of the last century - as well as keeping me entertained. Well illustrated and attractively produced too. Good stuff!
