Nothing new here. Disappointed by the lack of detail. There are still Droxford people living in the village who worked at Droxford Station, who could and should have been consulted/interviewed for this project. They could have added colour and detail to the writing, and identified people in photographs. A couple living in the village met while she was working in the coal yard office, and he was working for local farmers who used the station. Her father worked on the railway, and she remembers as a child riding with him on the hand cranked track maintenance vehicle. I feel this book was perhaps the last opportunity to gain first hand knowledge lost.
