Neil Milkins has done an excellent job in tracking down the career of the dreadful Welsh boy murderer Harold Jones, even finding evidence that he was released at the advent of the 2nd world war, perhaps to strike again. The illustrations are sometimes unintentionally funny, depicting shops used by the people involved, and houses where their relatives lived. The book is poorly produced by a small-time publisher, and not good value for money. Mr Milkins should have used his detective skills to find a better publisher. Still, this book is a gripping account of a fascinating murder case, and a very evil young man.
