A series of engaging missions that help you learn more about food, where it comes from, where it ends up and how to generally be more thoughtful around what you eat. Lots of mess and fun for all ages.

Wow, this series gets better as it goes on... Continuing with its mission to encourage all ages to engage with, and explore, the wider world, this time the focus moves to food. Cookbook, guerrilla gardener's manual, sustainability handbook... the missions will provide hours of fun whilst illustrating that geography permeates every aspect of life. Engaging and quirky text supported by beautiful illustrations, it would be a brilliant gift for any age. Just don't leave it gathering dust on the bookshelf... remember 'it's good to play with your food!'

This book is excellent it sets out to teach young people about food and the world around them through a series of mini missions. The missions vary in complexity and are suitable for many uses from home, holiday and at school. I can not recomend this book enough as a way to entertain children (of any age!!!)

An exciting collection of guerilla geography activities to help children (and excitable adults) to get involved with the sustainable food chain.Where else can you find ideas for activities which include writing a poo diary, carrot colouring, drawing your very own woodlouse castle, designing a machine that can cook using the elements, weighing yourself in rubbish, growing a teeny tiny salad, hints and tips on pooing... I can't wait until my printed copy arrives in the post!

How do you sum this book up? Fun, delicious, messy, informative, fun, silly, serious, gross. Every kid (and adult!) should read this book to get a better understanding of food, where it comes from, what it does and how it affects the world. Brilliant stuff!
