moving, inspirational and absolutely fantastic. so few books are available in english about the sikh women of the past. That this book is in a class of it's own. the stories are written in such a dynamic way and the excellent illustrations compliment the stories so well.

I've finished reading the book and I found it really inspiring. There's a lack of inspirational books for children on Sikhism. Most books have a hidden agenda ie to distort Sikhism. I hope you keep up the good work.

The stories have been written with enough detail to make them interesting to young and old. They depict the enivironment that Sikh Women faced...and how they overcome the hostilities within that environment. An excellent book...am waiting in anticipation for the next part & similair books from the author.

I've got a copy of this great book and the website [...] is brilliant also. I found the stories of brave Sikh women in history so inspirational. This is a great book for both kids and adults, Sikhs and Non-Sikhs! We need more like this...

when i first read the book i couldnt believe how much effort had been put in it.just by looking at the cover makes you want to read it!
this is a book everyone should read,no matter whether you are a sikh or not it will give you lots of courage and you gets you boosted full of energy!once you pick it up you cant put it back down,trust me!this book makes you emotional in parts and makes you want to be part of the true Khalsa Panth.Well done!

After reading the book, the first few words that came into my mind was "man, that was brill, that was wicked"! It really was inspirational, and i think the next person that reads it, they would most probably feel the same way about it aswell. i reckon its a bit like a guide to all women all around the world, that need inspiration to stand up for whats right! i have to say its like one of the best booklets i have ever read. there should be more booklets like The Princess Warrior

except one ofthe best features of the bookelt apart from the text i have to say are the illustrations, they are fantastic!
