This is really a great book, full of interesting data and profiles of hundreds of british celebrities. I found this book witty, informative and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about astrology. Although it's worthwhile for the student astrologer (like me) who needs real examples to understand the subject, it's also a great read for non-astrols because the author has researched the lives of many popular entertainers and gives dates of important life events. What he's done is to add astrological commentary so the astrology provides insight into the personalities of the famous. I loved the introduction, where he gives each planet's association with entertainment. It's obvious he's done his research.

Frank Clifford has done an excellent job of hunting down the birth data (in particular, the times of birth, which, frustratingly for astrologers and their clients alike, are not recorded on birth certificates of those born in England and Wales) of well-known British entertainers, and uses the Rodden Rating system to rate the reliability of the information.
Complete with fascinating biographical details, this book enables you to assess whether the person's life, personality and work reflects their birthchart or not. I used it recently to research a talk I gave on comedians and their birthcharts, for the Aquarius Severn Astrology Society.
Frank's determination to advance the accuracy of astrological data has helped put astrology on a sounder footing and made people aware of the importance of knowing not just a person's date and place of birth, but also the time of birth.
