This book was exactly what I was looking for when I first started to study massage, anatomy and physiology. It tells you all about the illnesses, basic ones and scarey ones and tells you whether it is ok to massage locally or generally or whether it is adviseable to get a GP/hospital authority and consent. Absolutely fantastic book - I've been qualified now for two years and still find this book invaluable...worth every penny and much more!

This book does give basic information on a lot of different pathologies but it leaves me wanting to know more. As an introductory text it is fine, people looking for more in depth information should maybe look elsewhere.

A must have for any massage therapist. Really reassuring to have it in hand. It explains clearly various pathologies so it is easier to recognise them. A good buy
