got this book yesterday and have left it on my coffee table.
every time i walk past it catches my eye and i pick it up for a 'quick 5 mins' but end up getting sucked in.
there are a few things i never knew existed and will definitely be chasing up on ebay .
in the same respect there are a lot of things i would never buy because i simply dont have space but it is nice to see them all here and have a look at them and read up on them.
if you are a collector of motorhead then you really should have this book even if you only collect the cd albums or whatever. this is a good book to have if you are a motorhead fan as it follows the bands career in a historical order and details lots of different memorabilia and not just albums.
not sure what else needs to be said. for me this is an excellent book, packed with info and pictures, autographs etc and well worth the money.
i cant wait to get home to have another look through it!

This book was published in 2011 (the original was published in 1994) and is a very useful and interesting resource book for both the Motorhead fan and collector. The layout is spread out nicely with sections on: Albums, Singles, Bootlegs, Colour plates, DVDs, books and assorted memorabilia.
This book is obviously useful to a die hard collector, but it also serves a purpose for the casual fan as its packed full of discographic information. For example each album has a tracklisting with a few paragraphs about the making of the album and information pertaining to the various releases. The singles section also has a paragraph of useful information for the collector. There are also some nice pictures and photos of the various albums, singles and memorabelia.
Fully updated the last single featured for inclusion here is the 2006 single 'God was never on your side' (european release) from the kiss of death album (2006). While the 2010 album 'The world is yours' was released just in time for the book and details all the various releases it has had (cd/dvd editions, rock fan pack etc). However the book doesn't include the recent live albums 'The world is ours' volumes 1 and 2, nor the recently released 'Aftershock', so a 3rd edtion may come out some time in the future. But for now this is one hell of a good resource book detailing all things Motorhead!
