One of the more traditional anime novels Ive read reacently, one that actually retains that little bit of japanese-ness!The fact that it reads right to left and is partly bilingual makes it so much more authentic!Plus this novel contains some excellent colour art and fantastic little Sakura card of your very own.
Overall, its what I usually would have expected from CLAMP,excellent art and a good storyline, along with a sprinkling of angsty wide-shouldered bishonen. Some new characters are introduced in this volume,as Sakura has captured all the cards, they cant just let it go at that, and Eriol Hiiragizawa(the part reinacarnation of Clow Reed)and his nutty looking pals Spinel Sun and Ruby Moon make an funky entrance to make Sakura's life hell, what with her discovery that the slightly feminine 'boy-next-door' Yukito is actually her guardian Yueh, and that both he and cards have to rely on the strength of Sakura's star in order to fight. Thus meaning Sakura must transform the Clow cards into Sakura cards so they can draw thier strength from her, sapping her energy.
Its all go in Tomoeda!Sakura must battle new and unseen threats along with her trusty friends,camera-weilding Tomoyo,Chinese mini-bish Li and her two guardians Cerberus and Yueh, discovering new powers along the way.Nothing said about her brother Toya's increasingly suspect advances on Yuki....

I found this to be My Fav Anime that I have ever seen since 2001. Action pact, It is GREAT with thrilling storyline and characters. I feel that this is one of Tokyopop's best that they have published along with Rebirth, Gundam, Immortal Rain(Not Published Yet...) and Fruits Basket. Please feel free to look up those tittles because you won't be disapointed. I must say that this is the best class Artwork that I have seen in a Manga for a Long, Long time. ;)It's starting to get slightly fast in revealing things which ruins the storyline too quickly, but It's only up to Vol.6 anyway. I'm still reading this over and over again until I get Part 3 in the post.
