5.0 out of 5 stars a companion for life, 23 Nov 2009

This review is from: Krishnamurti's Notebook (Paperback)
I do not possess this particular paperback edition since for years now I have had a hardback version close to hand for constant inspiration and insight. This is a journal written by Krishnamurti and is as far as I know the only one he wrote. There is such a predigious amount of material that has been produced by and around this amazing person in the form of the written word, spoken word, videos and the like, yet this journal contains the essence of his teaching through his own insights from day to day. The Process as he called it, which one might interpret to mean one of purification of spirit, caused him from day to day to experience both bliss and at other times physical discomfort. Every page of this journal is a spiritual declaration and appreciation for the beauty both of the outside world as well as for the inner spiritual world of humankind. This book would be of great benefit both to the person who knows Krishnamurti's work and would like to have access to his teaching in one succinct volume and is a perfect book for the person who has never heard of his work at all. A book to open after a stressful day, it is guaranteed to bring peace.Freedom from the Known

I read this very slowly and it seemed to be a very revealing book about how he experienced enlightenment.I was able to enter a little into the mood his notebook was describing.Dont rush this read.It tells litlle but reveals an insight into his ways of expression and is intensely private

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great book, 26 Jan 2014

This review is from: Krishnamurti's Notebook (Paperback)
This is a great book. It is a diary kept by Krishanmurti of how he was going through the process and what that meant for him. Having read many other book by Krishnamurti, this one showed how he was in 'touch' with that thing he called sacred. This book makes things clearer about other books written by Krishnamurti. Recommend it for people who are familiar with Krishnamurti.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perhaps the most profound book ever written on earth, 23 July 2001
It's an extremely beautiful book. I would rate it a million stars if I could. The truth it conveys comes from dephts wich are inconceivable for the mind. It comes from a state of existence where there is nothing but pure consiouseness. In addition, Krishnamurti wrhiting on a paper -not talking to unaware people- shows his maximum potentiality of expressing with words the unexpressable. And I can say the beauty and the meaningfullness of his words reaches and sometimes depasses the gratest figures's in human history. He can be compared only to Gautama Budha, Heraclitus, Osho and of course to himself in his other hand-written "Krishnamurti's Journal". But I have also to say that Krishnamurti is impossible to be fully understood by any man who does 'nt have the experience of an advanced level of meditation.
