As an aspiring bone fisherman I have scoured the book stores for anything that could improve my chances of success. Randall Kaufmann's book was like finding the Holly Grail.
Randall and his fishing partners must have waded, calf deep in all of the warm, crystal waters, wherever bonefish frequent. From the Florida keys to Christmas Island and back again. The result is a global guide to all that is bonefishing.
Accompanied by the stunning photography of Brian O' Keefe, himself an accomplished 'bone' catcher and adventurer.
The lovingly crafted text contains a lifetime of experiences and conveys to the reader the all consuming passion that developes when the angler begins fishing for bonefish.
This book is perhaps best described as one man's homage to one species of fish and a glorious celebration of it's tropical environment.

This provides a true insight into saltwater flyfishing for Bonefish and other light-tackle game fish. It shows that Bonefishing is not just about catching Bonefish but enjoying some of the most beautiful places on earth.
My wife has read this from cover to cover and she is not even a flyfisher! Every page contains stunning photography and is also very well written. The instructional text has enough detail for novices and intermediates alike. First-hand accounts and stories of trips and Bonefishing adventures provide further insight and entertainment. The book is expensive but is worth every penny. I have every other book on this and related subjects but this is by far the most enjoyable.
