5.0 out of 5 stars Great travel ID guide
Excellent and comprehensive guide to the fish of the Caribbean!
Follows on from the larger edition by Humann and Deloach but is just a more compact size!
Certainly reduced the weight of my hand-luggage when I went on a marine expedition for 4 weeks, of which this was listed as an essential item!
The waterproof cover also makes it a great guide to bring on...

Definitely not worthwhile. I had the original version and wanted this as a purchase for a friend. The quality was dreadful (worse than an old photocopier!). The upside was that Amazon were quick and efficient on return/refund. Stick to the original book -it's excellent.

Certainly reduced the weight of my hand-luggage when I went on a marine expedition for 4 weeks, of which this was listed as an essential item!
The waterproof cover also makes it a great guide to bring on the boats without the worry of damaging it.

The pictures are clear and features are listed about each fish, allowing you to distinguish between more similar species.
There wasn't one fish I saw whilst diving that wasn't in this book!

An essential for any budding marine biologist or diver with an interest in identification!
Suitable for the beginner or advanced.

Great book. Has all the fish and good photographs of them all. Makes the family's of fish easy to learn.
