This is a good map, it contains, good key, shows the passable and impassable sections of all waterways in home nations, it shows the boat yards, locks and tunnels. With all this information the map still stays very clear and easy to read.

The Inland Waterways of Great Britain: A Complete Route Planning and Restoration Map. This map (single large foldout map with two insert areas) provides an overview of the British Inland Waterways and provides distances miles and number of locks on key canals (not all). It is a good place to start trip planning.
