5.0 out of 5 stars A Fascinating insight into the sporting story of 2000, 10 Jan 2001

This review is from: ...and Nothing But the Truth? ( Hansie Cronje ) (Paperback)
This is a really good read. All cricket fans were appalled by the Hansie Cronje saga; this book suggests that the truth - in South Africa and around the world - could be even worse than we think. It is a well researched study and combines a rigorous dissecting of the facts with a light and often humerous touch. Analytical, but never dry, Gouws seems a natural sports writer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Facinating review of a disturbing event in the cricket world, 10 Jan 2001

This review is from: ...and Nothing But the Truth? ( Hansie Cronje ) (Paperback)
This book shows that there is more to this scandal than meets the eye. With tremendous insights, the author shows how serious the Cronje affair is not just for South Africa but for world cricket in general. Using comments from influential people as well as some amusing statistical theorys an informative and impartial story is told.
