For anyone that watched season 2 of Australian Masterchef you will know that Adam won and as a result has written this brilliant book.

If you have an interest in asian cooking then this is a good book to try out, the first part of the book gives you some recipes for pantry staples, stocks, pastes etc then onto some techniques to help you with sushi & dumplings etc. The two kitchens in the title are the "old kitchen" and "new kitchen", preety self explanitory really. The old kitchen explores some classic dishes from Adam's diverse background, and the new kitchen are more modern dishes that take inspiration from classic flavours.

A lot of the ingredients are obviously asain staples, so nearly all of the recipes will need either a trip to an asian supermarket, or a very well stocked supermarket (i would say a specialised asain supermarket would be the best bet though), but i think that makes it a bit more of an event! I love shopping for ingredients and this book gives me a reason to try out some stuff i've not before.

The recipes are well written and easy to follow which i think is essential when you're trying something new. Give it a go!

Book was as expected, great fan of Masterchef Australia and want to buy all their cook books. Wish they would also publish some of the recipes that they demonstrate on the programme.

Its a plesure cooking from and reading this book.I watched the tv show Masterchef Australia and already there found Adams food interesting.
Hope he writes some more books.

Two Asians kitchens is a must have book which cannot be missed in your bookcase. I am grateful that Adam wrote down his receipts so that we can enjoy it too. A very special book !
